NGC 1532, Haley’s Coronet, also known as NGC 1532, is a barred spiral galaxy located approximately 50 million light-years from us in the constellation Eridanus. With our side-on view of the galaxy we can see that it’s interacting with a smaller dwarf galaxy, NGC1531, as the outer arm of the galaxy is seemingly pulling towards its smaller companion.
