NGC 2359, also called Thor’s Helmet or the Duck nebula (if you can actually see a duck), is an emission nebula located in the Canis Major constellation. Measuring about 30 light-years across, this nebula houses a central star that is exceptionally hot and believed to be approaching a pre-supernova phase in its life cycle.
